Channel Intelligence
We want to understand whether patterns in a channel — which topics, formats, and title directions consistently work — can be made visible and usable, beyond isolated metrics.
Creator Decision Intelligence — in discovery
Inter Commitment is researching how serious YouTube creators can turn their channel data and content history into better, explainable content decisions.
The questionnaire is hosted on Google Forms and opens in a new tab. Participation is voluntary and takes about 25 to 35 minutes.
The problem
Creators already have access to extensive analytics, scattered stats, and generic AI tools. Yet translating that into a concrete next step often remains hard. More dashboards and more AI output don't solve that on their own — they shift the problem rather than solve it.
What we're researching
The topics below are research directions we want to validate with real creators — they are not features that exist or have been tested today. The discovery questionnaire is deliberately designed to critically test these hypotheses, not to confirm them.
We want to understand whether patterns in a channel — which topics, formats, and title directions consistently work — can be made visible and usable, beyond isolated metrics.
A possible direction meant to help answer the question "what's the best video for me to make right now?" — grounded in a creator's own channel data instead of generic topic suggestions.
We're exploring whether decisions about titles, thumbnails, and framing can be better grounded in what's already demonstrably working on a specific channel, instead of generic title generation.
The original research direction: can an existing video library be scanned for missed opportunities — content that might benefit from repackaging or a follow-up?
An exploration of content at the portfolio level: which series, formats, or content pillars deserve to continue, expand, or pause.
Examples of a future decision vocabulary we want to test:
Who it's for
This first round of discovery is focused on creators who treat their channel as a serious project or business, and who regularly make decisions about topics, formats, titles, thumbnails, series, and older content.
Just outside the indicative criteria below? Your experience and insights can still be valuable for this research — feel free to get in touch.
These are guiding criteria for the current discovery phase, not commercial segmentation. The focus is on YouTube creators with a substantial content library — not on general lifestyle influencer marketing.
Why take part
With the results of this research, we want to establish, among other things:
Which decisions creators genuinely find difficult, and how often that happens.
Which workarounds and tools creators already use today, and what information they trust.
Where existing analytics and AI tools fall short — and whether a future product could genuinely add value there.
Our vision
Other creator tools give you data, ideas, or assets. Inter Commitment is researching how creators can make better decisions about what to do with them. This is a vision for a possible future direction — not a description of an existing product.
Inter Commitment is in the discovery and validation phase. We're not building on the assumption that our first solution is automatically the right one. First, we want to properly understand the problem.
“Validate the problem before scaling the solution.”
Take part
Completing the questionnaire takes about 25 to 35 minutes and directly helps us determine the next step for Inter Commitment.
